About the Owner

Joel Traub began Lawn Care Extraordinaire as a mowing company. He soon made the transition from mowing and trimming to fertilization and pest control. Household pest control was added when his son joined the company. Over the years his company has grown, not from slick marketing, but with good, honest, customer satisfaction. Like our slogan says, Lawn Care Extraordinaire is “Big enough to be professional, small enough to care!”

Meet The Staff

The managers and technicians of Lawn Care Extraordinaire are the “face” of our company. Our managers use 48 years of combined experience to thoroughly instruct and train our technicians. These technicians, in turn, keep updated and educated on the new techniques and products to provide our customers with truly superior service!

  • Eric

    With Our Company Since February 1993
    Eric has been our manager for over 20 years. If you’ve had questions regarding your lawn, irrigation or indoor pest control, you’ve probably met him already. He is also the manager of the general household pest control side of our company.

  • Garry

    With Our Company Since January 2007
    Garry is our lawn care technician in areas of Venice such as Pinebrook, Lake of the Woods, Chestnut Creek, Blue Heron Pond, Valencia Lakes and South Venice, just to name a few.

    With Our Company Since October 1998
    John has been our salesman for a long time! He’s likely the first person you see from our company. He can measure your lawn, explain our programs and give you a price all in just 15 minutes (if you’re in a hurry).

  • Cierra

    With Our Company Since July 2002
    If you’ve received a postcard, introductory letter, thank you letter, email, etc, Cierra probably sent it. She’s our advertising and marketing manager and the owner’s oldest daughter.
