Thank you for choosing Lawn Care Extraordinaire. We’ve prepared these terms of service so you know exactly what to expect from us — and what we need from you.
- Services We Provide – dependant on the programs you choose.
- Lawn fertilization, broadleaf weed control, fungus control and turf-damaging insect control
- Tree, palm, and ornamental fertilization and pest control
- Landscape bed weed control
- Palm tree nutrient and pest control injections
- Mosquito reduction treatments
- General household pest control (inside and around the outside of your home or business)
Services expressly excluded: sod replacement, irrigation repair, landscape replacement or installation, or any guarantee of a flawless lawn or landscape. Great results come from our treatments + your watering, mowing and maintenance.
- Watering Is on You (But We’ll Help You Spot Problems)
- Your lawn needs regular, deep watering — usually about ¾–1 inch, 2–3 times a week (adjusted for season and local watering rules, see our website for specifics).
- Your trees and plants need less water than your lawn. Shrub zones should be set to receive ¼ inch (or less) each irrigation cycle. (See our website for specifics.)
- If heads are broken or coverage is uneven, even the best treatments can’t do their job.
- Our techs will document sprinkler issues and leave notes for you regarding necessary fixes and/or changes, but repairs and seasonal adjustments are the homeowner’s responsibility.
- Billing and Payment
- We invoice right after each visit — payment is due when you receive it.
- If an invoice remains unpaid, here’s our gentle reminder schedule:
30 days → Friendly reminder
60 days → Reminder + $15 statement fee
90 days → Final notice + $15 statement fee
120 days → Sent to collections
- Prices are normally set for the calendar year. If we ever need to adjust your rate because you added new turf, trees or ornamentals, we’ll let you know and get your approval first.
4. Starting, Pausing, or Stopping Service

- No long-term contracts: Our services are provided on an ongoing, visit-by-visit basis with no long-term contract or commitment required. You can pause or stop service at any time with simple notice (phone or email), and we’ll handle any prepaid funds promptly.
- If you’ve prepaid, we’ll refund any unused visits (prorated). A small $15 processing fee may apply.
- Last-minute cancellations: If you call after hours the night before and we’re already on the way, we may still have to charge for the completed treatment — but we’ll always try our best to stop service when possible.
- Accessing the Property
- Please make sure gates are unlocked or provide the office with access instructions (such as a gate code)
- If we can’t access the property, we may have to charge a $15 trip fee for a return visit.
- Let us know about aggressive dogs or sensitive plants.
- Our Promise to You
- If weeds or pests are still active 21 days after a treatment with a premium program, just call — we’ll come back and take care of it at no charge (as long as payments are current and we’ve been able to treat on schedule).
- Things we can’t control (drought, broken sprinklers, pet damage, storms, etc.) are outside the guarantee — but we’ll always work with you to get things looking good again.
- Keeping Everyone Safe
- All products we use are EPA and Florida-approved.
- Please keep kids and pets inside until everything dries (usually 1–2 hours).
- We leave a yard sign after every treatment and follow the buffer rules near canals and lakes.
- Photos & Video
Our trucks record video for route safety and quality control. Techs sometimes take quick photos to document work. We do not share the footage or images unless needed for verification of service.
- Household Pest Control (Extra Notes)
- Please clear counters and pull appliances out a bit if we’re treating inside.
- Our regular service keeps most crawling insects under control, but outdoor screened lanais can’t be guaranteed insect-free.
- Fleas, ticks, German roaches and rodents control are separate services – just ask and we’ll give you a quote. We do not offer bed bug or termite control.
- Changes to These Terms
If we ever update this agreement, we’ll email you the new version at least 30 days ahead of time. By continuing service after that date, you’re letting us know the new terms are okay with you.
